Holly Tree provide a full range of riding lessons for people of all abilities from the absolute beginner to experienced riders from aged 4 years upwards. We have the best ability of all Riding Schools in the area to get your children out of Lead Rein Lessons and Riding on their own. All our teachers work to BHS standard and are AI or PPT qualified. Riding hats are provided at no charge. We are able to offer Private and Semi Private Dessage Lessons.
Please wear either riding boots or shoes with a small heel, trainers and wellingtons are not suitable.
We run a Customer Loyalty Scheme collect 10 stamps on a card which is available from reception and when the card is filled with 10 lesson stamps get £5.00 off your next lesson
The school is open Mondays to Wednesdays from 10.00 am - 8:00 pm and Weekends from 9.30 am - 3:00 pm.
Ponies/horses are allocated for lessons on the basis of client size, ability and risk. Variety of Horses/Ponies in the lessons is part of learning to ride. We are able to reserve a Horse/Pony for you at 24 hours notice and subject to an additional £10 charge per lesson.

Please arrive 10 minutes before your lesson time so that your hat can be fitted and pony collected.

All new clients are required to complete a new client form and to pay a deposit which will be forfeited if you do not follow the cancellation policy. This is in line with all businesses and Riding Schools due to the number of 'no shows'. You will be asked to pay a deposit again on your next lesson if it has been forfeited.
Holly Tree can only accept payment for services in Cash or by most Debit/Credit Cards (except diners club and American Express)
CANCELLATION POLICY : All Riding Schools have a cancellation policy which has been introduced due to the number of ‘NO SHOWS’ at lessons.
If you telephone to cancel a lesson by 9.00 am on the day of the lesson you will not lose your initial deposit. If you do not telephone to cancel or telephone after 9.00 am on the day of your lesson your deposit will be forfeited and you will be asked to pay it again at your next lesson.
